PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a color filter is provided to use a color coating process a resin with low acid value so as to manufacture the color filter with improved characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a color filter includes following steps. At the first step, a positive photoresist layer is accumulated on a transparent electric conductive substrate. At the second step, a region on the electric conductive substrate at which covered by the photoresist layer is opened by using a developer agent. At the third step, the electric conductive substrate is exposed to a light at an energy of IE<SB POS="POST">n</SB>, where IE<SB POS="POST">n</SB> is an energy difference between D<SB POS="POST">n</SB> and D<SB POS="POST">n+1</SB>. At the forth step, the region at the second step is electrodeposited with a color accumulation coating including a negative ion electrodeposited resin. At the fifth step, the third and the forth steps are repeated until all pixels are arranged. At the sixth step, an overcoat is formed on the substrate. |
