PURPOSE: A vibration sensing apparatus is provided to achieve an improved sensing performance with accuracy while eliminating the necessity of installation of a vibration sensor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a bobbin(1000) having along an inner periphery thereof a migration path having a predetermined length, a magnetic core(2000) moving along the inner periphery of the bobbin by a vibration applied from an external source or an unbalanced gravity applied to the bobbin, and a coil(3000) wound onto an outer periphery of the bobbin and of which inductance changes in accordance with the movement of the magnetic core so as to thereby carry out Colpitts oscillation. A vibration sensing method comprises the steps of detecting an amount of vibration of the vibration sensing apparatus for a predetermined cycle, converting the detected amount of vibration into a predetermined frequency, and judging the vibration of the washing machine as abnormal if a level of the frequency is higher than an average of frequency variation output from the vibration sensing apparatus. |
