PURPOSE: An anode active material for a secondary lithium battery is provided to obtain an anode active material for a secondary lithium battery which has an excellent thermal stability and a long cycle life. CONSTITUTION: An anode active material for a secondary lithium battery is obtained by a chemical equation as follows. Li2Ni1-x-y-zCoxSryMzO2+b, wherein a is equal to or larger than 0.97 and equal to or small than 1.05. x is equal to or larger than 0.09 and equal to or smaller than 0.12. y is larger than zero, and equal to or smaller than 0.02. z is larger than zero, and equal to or smaller than 0.02. b is equal to or larger than -0.03 and equal to or smaller than 0.04. 1-x-y-z is equal to or larger than 0.86 and equal to or smaller than 0.89. M is Mg or Al. |
