<p>PURPOSE: Lamination adhesives are provided which have good adhesion property for substrates and result in high strength film laminates after lamination. CONSTITUTION: A lamination adhesives are polymer composed of 5 - 95 wt% of a mixture of at least one C2-C4alkyl acrylate and at least one C6-C12 alkyl acrylate (monomers a); 5 - 30 wt% ethylenically unsaturated compounds with a glass transition temperature above 0°C which, apart from the ethylenically unsaturated group, have no further functional groups (monomers b); 0 - 10 wt% ethylenically unsaturated compounds with at least one acid group or acid anhydride group (monomers c); and 0 - 60 wt% of additional ethylenically unsaturated compounds (monomers d). The indications of weight are given with reference to the emulsion polymer.</p> |
