PURPOSE: A method for reserved download of digital data file transmission system is provided to enable the user to download the file during a low-traffic hour by checking the telecommunication's traffic status when a PC or an automatic digital data sales device desires to download the digital data file from the digital data server. CONSTITUTION: A method for reserved download of digital data file transmission system is composed of registration, installation, transmission, and play back. User registers as a member to legally download the file. User receives ID and password from registration, receives digital data player of software form through the telecommunication connection, and installs the digital data software player in the PC(2). When the user desires to download digital data file from the digital data server(1) through PC and telecommunication connection, ID and password are transmitted through the telecommunication connection. Digital data server confirms the user's identity based on ID and password, and sends the requested file. PC stores the received digital data file in its hard disk and when user requests for play back, file is decoded and played back through digital data software player. User can listen to desired music through PC without being restricted by time or place.
