PURPOSE: An actuating amplifier for a liquid crystal display screen is provided to accelerate the operation of the amplifier as well as to reduce the power dissipation by connecting 2 adjacent cells instraneously. CONSTITUTION: An actuating amplifier for a liquid crystal display screen includes a data passer(21), a plurality of amplifiers(22), a plurality of capacitors(23), and a switch. The data passer(21) receives a digital input signal, performing converting operation for the digital input signal and outputs the result. The plurality of amplifiers(22) convert the output analog voltage of the data passer into an analog voltage with lower impedance and outputs the result. The plurality of capacitors(23) are coupled with the output node of each amplifier and perform modeling of each row on the liquid crystal display screen. The switch connects or disconnects one row of the liquid crystal display screen and another row that is adjacent to the row and adjusts same color component based on a select signal from the outside.
