PROCESS OF PRODUCING FOR MICROCAVITIES MEMBRANES USING MULTI-STEPS

PURPOSE: A process of producing for microcavities membranes using multi-steps is provided which is scaled up size of cavities by irradiating ion particles to cut weak polymer chain being among cavities of a primary membrane and can control size of cavities in the direction of thickness of membrane by controlling sort, amount and energy of ion particles. CONSTITUTION: A process comprises the steps of: extruding a synthetic resin; preparing a precursor film by taking up and cooling the extruded resin; annealing the precursor film; stretching the precursor film; preparing the primary membrane by hot setting the precursor film; preparing microcavities membranes by irradiating ion particles having energy on surface of the primary membrane. The microcavities membranes are improved transmissivity of ions and electrolyte by big cavities being surface of membrane and stability of a battery and mechanical properties such as shut-down and thermal shrinkage by small cavities being inside of membrane.
