PURPOSE: A melting carbonate type fuel battery is provided for eliminating problems of causing non-activated area and lowing efficiency of the battery derived from flow resistance and pressure drop at inlet for fuel gas. CONSTITUTION: The melting carbonate type fuel battery comprises the cathode, the anode and the electrolyte interposed between them and supported by the separation plate and the electrolyte supporting plate. Fuel gas is provided through the manifold(16) positioned in the separation plate(14) and the supporting plate(6) and passes through the catalyst(20) attached inside the flowing route formed between the cathode and the cathode to convert the fuel gas into hydrogen. The fuel battery includes further 90-99% porous plate(22) made of nickel material and having a thickness of 1/3 times the inner diameter of the flowing route and formed at the inlet of the flowing route to control the stream of fuel gas.
