Air-generation unit to be connected to a glass-plate hardening department, and process for its manufacture

The invention concerns an air-generation unit connected to the hardening department of a glass-plate hardening plant, and a process for manufacture of the unit. The walls 32, roof 33 and floor 31 of the equipment space 3 are constructed and designed as a transport container, in which the pieces of air-generation equipment 4 are installed and fixed before being transported to the site where it will be used. Since the fan space enclosing the air-generation unit forms at the same time the unit's transport container, repeated loading and dismantling of the generation equipment is avoided. In this way, the labour force required for the transport and erection on site is appreciably reduced.
