CONSTITUTION: A golf club head comprises: a club head body and face insert plate, the club head body having a face plate mounting surface to which the face insert plate is bonded, the face plate mounting surface having a plurality of varying depth channels formed therein, and an elastomeric binding material being provided within the channels for bonding the face insert plate to the face plate mounting surface and for performing a vibration damping function.</p> |
