摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling recorded time is provided to minimize jitter amounts by sampling a reflecting amounts of a regular section to check material quality of an optical disk, to drive a laser diode according to the checked material quality, and by controlling the recorded time to perform a running optimum power control(OPC) function. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling recorded time according to material quality characteristics of an optical disk, comprises the steps of: sampling a predetermined section among radio frequency(RF) signals outputted according to optical amounts of a laser beam, radiated in the optical disk by being radiated in a laser generator during a recorded section of a regular clock pulse; dividing the RF signals to detect a peak level of the optical disk according to the RF signals of each divided point; comparing time forming the detected peak level with preset time; and if the time is faster than the preset time, shortening the recorded section to slow down recorded time radiating the laser beam, and if the time is slower than the preset time, extending the recorded section to quicken the recorded time radiating the laser beam.
