PURPOSE: An induction electric motor controller having an inverter is provided to increase a control degree of a vector by calculating a slip based on a rotor resistance. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier(100) rectifies an alternating current voltage to obtain a direct current voltage. A smoothing capacitor(C) smoothenes the direct current voltage from the rectifier(100). A speed detector(400) generates a pulse according to a rotating speed of a motor(300). A thermistor is inserted into a winding of the motor(300). A temperature detector(600) senses a temperature of the winding of the motor(300) using the thermistor. A resistance value generator(700) generates a rotor resistance value according to a change of the temperature of the winding of the motor(300) sensed by the temperature detector(600). A calculator(500) calculates a rotating speed of the motor(300) using the current speed of the motor(300) of the speed detector(400) and a rotor resistance value of the resistance value generator(700).
