PURPOSE: A microcomputer stabilizing apparatus during a DPMS off mode is provided to prevent a noise of an SMPS transformer by supplying a stable microcomputer power supply during a DPMS off mode. CONSTITUTION: A bridge diode(BD1) rectifies an input alternating current power supply. A horizontal pulse detector(2) detects a horizontal pulse induced to the second winding of a transformer(T2). An OSC controller(3) judges on/off of a DPMS mode according to a signal from the horizontal pulse detector(2) and controls an oscillator of an SMPS controller(1) during a DPMS mode off to stop the SMPS transformer. A low voltage generator(4) generates a low voltage correspond to a power saving mode from an input alternating current power supply during the DPMS mode off and supplies the low voltage to a circuit having a microcomputer(M).
