PURPOSE: A card feeding apparatus of a thermal card printer is provided to easily adjust the size of a card opening using a simple tool based on a card thickness and load many cards at one or two times when initially loading the cards. CONSTITUTION: In a card thickness adjusting apparatus, a protrusion apparatus(28) and a bolt processing object(37) are engaged to a circular cam(27) and is inserted into a lower hole(20) of a card thickness scale indication plate(21) and is attached to a groove(36) of a card receiving box(39). A protrusion(34') of a plate spring(18) is engaged to a groove(33) among a plurality of grooves, and the plate spring(18) is fixed to the card receiving box(39). An upper and lower movement plate(29) having a static electricity prevention brush plate(25) is inserted into a vertical hole(24) of the upper and lower movement plate(29) using the bolt processing object(22) and the spring(23) and is fixed to the card receiving box(39). The height of the card opening(30) is adjusted by changing the circular movement into the upper and lower movement by rotating the bolt processing object(37) engaged to the hole(36) of the card receiving box(39) in a rear portion of the card receiving box(39).
