PURPOSE: A method and a system for controlling communication between a terminal and a branch processor are provided to implement a wireless communication interface by checking a shop number of a bank terminal and an index of a terminal for performing a communication interface of a branch processor and a wireless terminal and provide a gateway for setting an inter-communication path. CONSTITUTION: In a gateway(104), a first interface unit(114) receives a data from a wireless data communication apparatus(RNG)(102), converts a terminal index included in the data into a shop number and a wireless terminal number of the bank, transfers the data for a decoding operation and transfers the received data to the wireless data communication apparatus(102). A second interface unit(110) transfers the data from the first interface unit(114) to the branch processor(106) and converts and transfers the bank branch number and wireless terminal number data received from the branch processor(106) into a terminal identification value. A data coder/decoder(112) encodes and decodes the data of the first and second interface units(114, 110). A monitoring unit(116) checks the functions of the first and second interface units(114, 110) and the encoder/decoder(112) and supports the functions of the network management system(NMS).
