FLAT PANEL DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING AUTO TRACKING CONTROL FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A flat panel display apparatus with auto tracking control function is provided to determine if the phase difference is suitable for the current display mode by detecting the phase difference of a sampling clock provided to an analog-digital converter and video signals provided by a host. CONSTITUTION: A sampling clock generator(40) generates a sampling clock corresponding to a synchronization signal from a host. A delayer(90) delays the sampling clock. A level converter(80) converts an analog video signal provided by the host to have a determined digital level and outputs it. A phase difference detector(110) outputs a phase difference data corresponding to the phase difference of the converted video signal and the delayed sampling clock. A comparator(120) compares the phase difference data with a delay data corresponding to the synchronization signal. A regulator regulates the phase of the sampling clock by increasing or decreasing delay time. An analog-digital converter(20) converts the analog video signal provided by the host to a digital video signal.
