PURPOSE: A device and a method for fixing an improved pressure support type are provided to relieve stress concentration generated on corner of an end portion of a fixing device while straining a steel wire, and to prevent damage of an end portion of the fixing device by installing a support plate on a fixing plate and a fixing plate. CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate(61) is produced to perforate a hole on a PS concrete girder(68) and is installed after mounting a short anchor bolt(63). Then, the fixing plate is welded with an end portion plate(69) by placing the end portion plate on an end portion of the girder to complete assembly. An epoxy fills void between concrete and the end portion plate, and another void between the concrete and the fixing plate. Then, fixing holes and a fixing bar(62) are installed to contract a steel wire(67) in a steel wire pipe(66). The anchor bolt holds the fixing plate before hardening a steel plate with the epoxy. Thereby, a bolt having length under 10cm prevents the damage of the steel wire.
