PURPOSE: A supporting cover for the upper arm bracket of a vehicle is provided to tightly combine the bracket to a side member and to be used for a side member having a slant face. CONSTITUTION: An upper arm bracket consists of a supporting plate(21) with many forming units and an opening portion(21a); and a first, a second and a third slant plate(22,23,24) supporting the three faces of the upper arm bracket while extended from the opening portion and the three plates of the supporting plate. The lower end of the upper arm bracket is attached to a side member(11). A shock absorber is installed in the upper end of the upper arm bracket and an upper arm installing shaft is fixed to the intermediate portion of the upper arm bracket with a bolt. A supporting cover(20) is placed between the upper arm bracket and the side member to enhance combining intensity with the supporting plate, three slant plates and an extended plate(25). Since the supporting plate is settled on the side member in the same shape and three slant plates support the three faces of the bracket so that the upper arm bracket is tightly fixed to the side member. At that time, the extended plate is welded into the side member to enhance combining intensity.
