摘要 PURPOSE: A driving structure for alternator for automotive vehicle is provided to accomplish improvements enabling an alternator to constantly generate high output regardless of RPM fluctuation of engine and without increasing the size of the alternator. CONSTITUTION: A driving structure comprises an idle pulley(6) connected, through a belt, to a crank shaft pulley mounted at an end of a crank shaft rotating in accordance with an operation of an engine, a variable speed pulley(14) installed onto a rotation axis where the idle pulley(6) fixed, so as to rotate together with the idle pulley and which has a diameter variable in accordance with RPM fluctuation of alternator, and an alternator pulley(8) connected to the variable speed pulley(14) through a variable belt having a variable diameter so as to drive an alternator. Thus, when an alternator is at a low RPM, the diameter of the variable speed pulley is increased so as to increase RPM of the alternator pulley. When the alternator is at a high RPM, the diameter of the variable speed pulley is decreased so as to decrease RPM of the alternator pulley, thereby maintaining RPM of the alternator at constant high level.
