PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high polymer fuel cell system equipped with a carbon monoxide reducing device capable of stably reducing a carbon monoxide at a low temperature. SOLUTION: A carbon monoxide in reformed gas produced in a reformer 17 is reduced by transforming it to a carbon dioxide by a shift reaction in a carbon monoxide transformer 19. In a carbon monoxide reducing device 23, the carbon monoxide contained in the reformed gas is reduced to one with a low concentration by a catalyst in a low temperature by injecting an oxidizer into the reformed gas from the carbon monoxide transformer 19. Thereby, a solid high polymer fuel cell body 27 generates power by consuming the reformed gas rich with hydrogen from the carbon oxide reducing device 23 and oxygen.
