PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for displaying index information by which a user can easily write index information on a bare information recording medium capable of recording on both faces. SOLUTION: Index information 6 is written on an arbitrary part in the information area-containing region of an optical disk except the clamp area by using an ink which is transparent to the wavelength of light used for recording or reproduction on the optical disk, absorbs light having a specified wavelength other than the wavelength of the light for recording or reproduction and emits light. A user can easily record index information at an arbitrary position on the disk even if the disk is a double-faced recording medium. |
