PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the performance of each member constituting a vibration type driving device when an impact is added to equipment provided with the vibration type driving device such as a lens barrel. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with the vibration type driving device having a vibrating body 12 whose vibration is excited by electrical- mechanical energy conversion, a driving body 18 receiving driving force by friction from the vibrating body, motive power transmission mechanisms 20, 22 and 23 transmitting the driving force from the driving body to a member to be driven 21 by the friction and a pressing member 15 imparting pressing force by which the vibrating body is brought into press-contact with the driving body and the friction is caused by the motive power transmission mechanism through the vibrating body and the driving body. In this case, it is provided with a regulating member 8a regulating the movement of the member to be pressed including the vibrating body, the driving body and the motive power transmission mechanism exceeding a specified quantity in a direction in which it resists the pressing force of the pressing member by abutting on at least one of the member to be pressed (for instance, the vibrating body). |
