NONCONTACT IC CARD AND NONCONTACT IC CARD PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the top or reverse side of a magnetic medium and its direction and to display visual data more easily by making it possible to read and write magnetic data out of and to only one surface of the magnetic medium layer. SOLUTION: The noncontact IC card 1 has the magnetic medium layer 13 where magnetic data corresponding to its internal magnetic state are recorded, an IC card sheet 5, and a transparent film 3. The magnetic medium layer 13 is provided with a magnetic layer 9 on the reverse side of a base film 8 and a magnetic layer 7 on the top surface. The magnetic layer 7 has a very thin print layer 14 formed in white or silver so that visual data stand out. The magnetic data are recorded and the recording state of the magnetic data is displayed as the visual data through the IC card sheet 5 and transparent film 3. The magnetic data recorded on the magnetic medium layer 13 can be read out of and written to only the magnetic layer 9 on one surface of the magnetic medium layer 13.
