<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent system abnormality in the case that a vehicle separation phenomenon is generated by the erroneous detection of a tow car advancing to the exit lane of an ETC(electronic toll collection) system. SOLUTION: This ETC system is provided with plural vehicle detectors 21-23 for detecting a vehicle passing on a lane for collecting a toll, an antenna 11 and an antenna control part 12 for performing radio communication with the vehicle and obtaining vehicle information in the case that the vehicle is detected by the vehicle detector 21, a camera 29 and an image processor 30 for photographing the number plate of a succeeding vehicle and obtaining the vehicle information in the case of judging that the vehicle is separated into two and a lane controller 26 for judging whether or not the vehicle is one or separated into two based on detected results by each of the vehicle detectors 21-23, comparing the vehicle information obtained from the image processor 30 with the vehicle information obtained by the radio communication and performing the eliminating operation of a pseudo vehicle in the case that both the compared information are coincident with each other.</p> |
