<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera enhanced in the operability with respect to the setting before photographing by properly setting photographing conditions that are comparatively difficult through a simple operation. SOLUTION: An operator selects a desired guide image among a plurality of guide images stored in a guide image storage means, and an object image on the basis of an image signal outputted from an electronic image pickup means and the guide image selected by the user are synthesized and the synthesized image is displayed on an image display device. Then the electronic camera is also provided with an image pickup control means that controls a photographing lens system 11 and/or an electronic image pickup means according to a prescribed photographing condition and a photographing condition setting means that sets the photographing condition indicated by the guide image to the photographing control means.</p> |
