PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect even a very small disk collision by detecting the movement of at least one of a 1st roller which presses the outer peripheral edge of a disk and a 2nd roller which presses the inner peripheral edge of the disk from a specific neutral position. SOLUTION: The disk chuck mechanism chucks a disk D by reducing the interval between rollers 2A and 2B through parallel links 4A and 4B as coil springs 10A and 10B shrink. If the disk D collides against a cassette when inserted into the cassette, an upward force is applied to the roller 2A which is pressing the disk D and a roller bracket 3A rotates together with a ring block 6A. Then the roller bracket 3A shields an optical sensor SC and the light emitted by the light transmitting element of the optical sensor SC is reflected and detected by a light receiving element. Consequently, the disk collision can be detected.
