PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device for suppressing the radial tilt of an objective lens caused by the scattering of the dimension accuracy and mounting position of an elastic support member or the like. SOLUTION: In an XYZ rectangular coordinates system, an objective lens driving device is provided with a lens holder 4 for retaining an objective lens 5 with a Z-axis direction as a light axis, an elastic support member 3 that is extended nearly in a Y-axis direction as a whole and supports the lens holder 4 with a support member 1 so that it can be displaced in the Z-axis direction and/or X-axis direction, a focusing coil 7 and/or a tracking coil 6 being fitted to the lens holder 4, and permanent magnets 2a and 2b for driving with a rectangular magnetic pole surface that opposes the focusing coil 7 and/or the tracking coil 6 being engaged to the support member 1. In this case, the permanent magnet 2a for driving is engaged to the support member 1 so that at least one side part of the rectangular magnetic surface can be brought closer to or separated from the focusing coil 7 and/or tracking coil 6.
