PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of charging a heat pipe with working fluid excellent in quality which keeps the quantity of charge of working fluid, and is not influenced by the temperature difference at the time of working fluid charge work, and besides avoids the dispersion of work caused by the individual differences of the workers at the time of measuring the quantity of charge. SOLUTION: In a method of charging a heat pipe with working fluid which puts in working fluid in a container 1 from the opening 2 of the container 1 of a heat pipe and then, vacuumizes the interior of the container and blocks the opening 2 of the container, the working fluid filled in the container 1 is put it in condition of frozen ice blocks, and the working fluid in ice block state is filled it in via an injection nozzle 3 going to the opening 2 of the container, in the state of ice grains 5 of uniform volume or weight.
