Synthetic decorative rock for aquaria comprises clays which are fired to achieve light to white varieties, and contain silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide and titanium oxide in specified percentages. Additional materials are provided in specified proportions on expanded pearlite basis to achieve the desired porosity and surface roughness. |
