PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide-ion conductor whose ion transport factor is high in a wide temperature region without reducing electric conductivity. SOLUTION: In the oxide-ion conductor represented by a formula Ln1-xAx Ga1-y-zB1yB2zO3-d, crystal particles with 0.25-2.0 μm grain size exist by not less than 30 vol.% of total among crystal particles with grain size larger than that of them. In this formula, Ln is one or more elements selected from a group comprising La, Ce, Pr, Nd, and Sm, A is one or more elements selected from a group comprising Sr, Ca, and Ba, B1 is one or more elements selected from a group comprising Mg, Al, and In, and B2 Co, Fe, Ni, and Cu. Furthermore, x is 0.05-0.3, y is 0.025-0.29, z is 0.01-0.15, (y+z) is 0.035-0.3, and d is 0.04-0.3. |
