PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of optical characteristic in such a case that one optical pickup is used in common for a plurality of optical disks by applying such optical pickup to an optical disk apparatus for reproducing, for example, a compact disk and DVD in the optical disk apparatus. SOLUTION: On the occasion of selectively condensing the laser beam to the optical disks 2A, 2B with the common optical systems 5, 6, 7 from the light sources isolated in the radius direction of the optical disks 2A, 2B, the optical system 7 is displaced in the radius direction of the optical disks 2A, 2B corresponding to the selective emission of laser beam. |
