PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-sensitized optoelectric transducing element for optoelectrically transducing infrared rays and a optoelectric-chemical cell using the same. SOLUTION: The optoelectric transducing element and the optoelectric- chemical cell have, on a conductive support body, a photosensitive layer containing a metallic complex pigment expressed by formula (I) and semiconductor particulates. In the formula (I), the M1 stands for a metallic atom and the L1 for a ligand capable of bonding to the metallic atom. The m1 stands for an integer of 0 to 4 and the m2 for an integer of 1 to 3. When the m1 is 2 or more, the L1 can be the same or different. The X1 stands for an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or -NR14-. The R14 stands for a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of substitution or of non-substitution, or an aryl group of substitution or of non-substitution. The Y1 stands for a hydroxyl group or an amino group of substitution or of non-substitution. The R11, R12, and R13 independently stand for a hydrogen atom or a substitution group. The n1 stands for an integer of 1 to 3, and the n2 and n3 for an integer of 1 to 4. The R11 to R13 may bond to another portion in their molecule to form a ring. |
