METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HYPERTEXT DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually relate and display constituent elements arranged on different planes by relating and storing the constituent elements according to hypertext specification described in a hypertext and displaying plural planes on a screen while overlapping them according to the relation. SOLUTION: An interpreting means 5 when detecting a description regarding bind specification in a start constituent element relates constituent elements belonging to different planes according to the description contents. Then the result is set in a bind identifier field of a constituent element information table 7 and a bind information table 8. When the bind interpretation of an end constituent element is completed, the interpreting means 5 informs a display information acquiring means 9 of that. The display information acquiring means 9 having acquired display start positions and pieces of display information instructs a display picture generating means 11 to generate display picture data together with the pieces of display information. The display picture generating means 11 generates display picture data that display information is overlapped.
