PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for displaying the material of parts which allows the easy check of the quality of the parts constituting products at the time of decomposition disposal or recycling of the products and is capable of embodying the improvement in the efficiency of decomposition and classification work and the curtailment of waste disposal costs. SOLUTION: In the process of forming the parts 1 of the products, a photochromic compound is mixed with the material constituting the parts 1 and the parts 1 are constituted by using this material. At the time of the decomposition disposal or recycling of the products, the parts 1 are irradiated with the light from a light source meeting the photochromic compound mixed with the parts 1. The material of the parts 1 is specified by utilizing photochromism (the phenomenon that the color is changed by a photoreaction).
