PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote controller enabling a user to recognize the existence of a key and a transmission part without using visual recognition. SOLUTION: The remote controller to be a card type remote controller for remotely controlling a CD reproducing device loaded on a vehicle is provided with a casing 22 like a rectangular plate having 3 to 8 mm thickness and dimensions of a business card or the like, many keys or pushbuttons 24 arranged on one outer surface of the casing 22 and a transmission part 28 arranged on one end face 26 of the casing 22 to transmit a control signal. A conical projection 46 having about 0.1 mm height is formed on a key 44 arranged on the end of a key train 42 most close to the transmission part 28. At the time of recognizing the projection 46 formed on the key 44 near the transmission part 28 by feeling for and touching it without looking at it by eyes, a user immediately grasps the existence of the transmission part 28, turns the transmission part 28 to a receiving part of the CD reproducing device and depresses a key, so that the CD reproducing device is allowed to execute required operation.
