MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF BOSS FOR PORTABLE RADIO EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of radio performance by stabilizing contact of a metallic enclosure with a printed circuit board without reducing the area for mounting components on the printed circuit board, in the case of portable- type radio equipment using a metallic enclosure. SOLUTION: Metallic plates 5 are used. Such plate is fixed to a boss 1a of a metallic enclosure 1 and each make elastic pressure contact with the root surface of the boss 1a and with an earth pattern 2b of a printed board 2, and the printed circuit board 2 and an under case 3 are fastened/fixed by means of screws 4 to the bosses 1a mounted with the metallic plates 5. If the screws 4 come loose, contact of the printed circuit board 2 with the seat surfaces of the bosses 2a is maintained and stabilized by the elasticity of the metallic plates 5, thus preventing the deterioration of radio performance.
