MEMORY CACHE SYSTEM AND MANAGING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory cache system managed so as to improve a performance in a multiprocessor environment. SOLUTION: A first processor 24a accesses data while using a first level 1 cache 28a and a second processor 24b accesses data while using a second level 2 cache 28b. A memory control circuit 22 is arranged between the first and second level 1 and level 2 caches 26 and a main memory 14. The level 2 cache manages the copy of data in a main storage device, these level 1 caches have the copies of data and the instruction of whether these copies are changed or not is further managed.
