COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR PORTABLE TERMINAL DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a collection and distribution system for portable terminal data which automatically performs data transmission to a host device once a portable terminal is set on the collection and distribution device. SOLUTION: The collection and distribution system for portable terminal data transmits data recorded in a recording part 11 of a portable terminal 1 to a host device 4 through a collecting and distributing device 2 and the portable terminal 1 is provided with a detecting means 14 which detects the terminal being set on the collecting and distributing device 2 and a communication means 13 which communicates with the host device through the collection and distribution device; when the portable terminal is set on the collection and distribution device, the communication means 13 inquires a communication means for the host device of the collection and distribution device and when the discrimination result of a communication path discrimination part 24 is reported from the collection and distribution device 2, data transmission is carried out according to the communication procedure of the communication means. Once the user sets the portable terminal on the collection and distribution device, the data of the portable terminal are automatically sent to the host device without any special operation.
