The invention concerns a moulding unit comprising a two-part mould, each mould-half 12) being borne by a support (17) of the type wherein the two supports are capable of being moved between an open position and a closed position wherein the supports are linked with each other by locking means, and of the type wherein the moulding unit includes line pressure compensating means thrusting transversely at least one of the mould-halves (12) towards the other. The invention is characterised in that the line pressure compensating means are designed in the form of an inflatable flexible cushion (30) interposed between a rear surface of the mould-half (12) concerned and a front surface of the associated support (17).
