摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording material which can be piled up without using an insert by disposing a layer of an organic polymeric material having a specified glass transition temperature on the rear side of a substrate and mixing a pigment in a photosensitive layer or in a top layer formed thereon. SOLUTION: The recording material has a photosensitive image forming layer on the front side of the substrate and a layer of an organic polymeric material having >=45 deg.C glass transition temperature on the rear side of the substrate and contains a pigment in the photosensitive layer or a top layer present thereon. The pigment is usually inorganic and substantially water- insoluble. The average particle diameter of the pigment is 0.1-15.0 μm. A preferred pigment composition is a silicate product having 3-5 μm average particle diameter and 15 μm cutoff. The silicate product is preferably combined with a surfactant, particularly a surfactant having a siloxane unit. The amount of the surfactant is 0.01-2 wt.% of the dry weight of the radiation sensitive layer.
