PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size inductor for use in a radio part of a high frequency device, which can have a high inductance value, while avoiding reduction of a self resonance frequency and deterioration of a Q-value. SOLUTION: When a high-frequency current is inputted to a high-frequency input/output terminal 111, a high-frequency current flows via bumps connected to pads 102 and 110 through transmission lines 111, 103, 112, 104, 113, 105, 114 and a high-frequency input/output terminal 107 in this order. Accordingly, a magnetic field is generated to form an inductor. Since the magnetic field is developed in an air gap defined by the height of the bumps and the depth of a recess 109 of a subdielectric substrate 108 and thus the diameter of the air core can be made equivalently large, a small-size inductor which has a high self-resonant frequency and Q-value can be realized.
