PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring insertion holes of a rubber stopper close to insulation displacement contact positions of electric wires. SOLUTION: In this connector, a rubber stopper 30 separately formed from a housing 10 is formed with insertion holes 31 in its center height positions, while a hard resin plate 40 is stuck to the front face of the rubber stopper 30. The resin plate 40 is installed to the rear face of the housing 10 with ribs and guide grooves to freely slide up and down. When the housing 10 is set onto a insulation displacement contact mold, the rubber stopper 30 is supported in a higher position than a regularly arranged position in the rear face of the housing 10. Electric wires 35 are inserted straight through the insertion holes 31 and insertion holes 41 above insulation displacement contact blades 23 of insulation displacement contact terminals 20. When the electric wires 35 are brought into pressure-contact with the insulation displacement contact blades 23, the rubber stopper 30 is pressed down. The insertion holes 31 of the rubber stopper 30 are brought close to the insulation displacement contact positions of the electric wires 35.
