PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device good in operability which can easily recognize a next pressing and operating direction of an operation plate and a switch state, and can certainly perform changeover of the switch. SOLUTION: This switch device A comprises a switch body 1, an operation plate 5 that is removably mounted to the switch body 1 and journalled oscillatably, a mounting frame 2 mounted with the switch body 1, and a plate 4 for covering the mounting frame. The operation plate 5 keeps a neutral position in a state that the operation plate 5 is not pressed and operated, and an opening/closing mechanism of the switch body 1 is reversed by alternately pressing and operating both right and left ends of the operation plate 5.
