Trailer coupling has coupling bolt with force measuring device to allow braking of trailer during regulating process

The trailer coupling includes a coupling bolt (2) which is moved up and down in a coupling mouth (1) and which has for measuring the drawbar force a force measuring device so that a connected trailer can be braked during the course of a regulating process. The force measuring device is a sensor based on for example expansion measuring strips and absorbing forces at right angles to the longitudinal extension of the coupling bolt in the order of 150 kN and in the axial direction of the bolt in the order of 30 kN.
