The device for actuating the cartridge ejector of a double-barrelled weapon has an actuating surface (13) underneath the hinge bolt (4) and an ejection rod (7) with a double jointed lever arrangement between them. One joint of the arrangement consists of a transmission lever (17) which has a pivot on the barrel (5) whose axis is over the hinge bolt. The other joint is mounted on the barrel support between the actuating surface and the transmission lever and is linked to them in front of the pivot axis.
