<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic equipment which makes it possible to visually confirm an operation state of its main body even from a distant place. SOLUTION: A keyboard 7 for inputting commands and data to a main body 8 of an electronic equipment is provided as a different body from the main body 8, state detection mechanisms 2 are formed on the respective surfaces of the housing of the keyboard 7, and a control circuit judges which of the surfaces of the keyboard 7 abuts against a mount base from the ON/OFF states of the state detecting mechanisms 2 and controls a power supply circuit according to the surface of the keyboard 7 which abuts against the mount base so that the main body 8 will be in a standby state for an input signal, a suspended state, a screen saver state, or a cutoff state.</p> |
