PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high definition radiograph with a small exposure dosage. SOLUTION: Radiation from a microfocus radiation source 11 is transmitted through an object 15, and then, a reading device 30 equipped with a radiograph conversion panel using stimulable phosphor, or a flat panel detector constituted by using a scintillator and a microplate is irradiated with the radiation. The radiograph conversion panel and the flat panel detector are set so as to obtain a high image resolution. The high definition radiograph is obtained by the reading device. Besides, the exposure dosage is reduced.
