A roller-shaped support (1), carries the electric motor stator (4) on its outer circumference. At one end of the support, there is an annular groove (2). The pulley, having inner and outer- (3) walls, is mounted by its innermost wall on a bearing within the annular groove. The inner surface of the pulley outer wall, carries the rotor (5) of the electric motor. The outer circumference of this wall, includes the rope grooves. This wall (3) surrounds the motor stator (4). The air gap between rotor and stator is typical of a conventional electric machine.
