The disc brake has a brake actuating device (7) with turning lever (9) having an eccentric shoulder. There is at least one electromechanical drive (39), acting on the turning lever, with a transmission (37) with cycloidal gearing. The eccentric shoulder engages on an eccentric shaft (23), which is supported on a brake caliper projection (25). The drive has two traction/pressure bars (31,33). The bars are linked to the upper and lower ends of the semi-cylindrical shoulders of the turning lever, and to opposite outer sections of a drive pulley of the cycloidal gear.
