PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the light emitting display device, using light emitting diodes, which can emit color light of uniform luminosity and hues and display sharp images in spite of inserting of external light. SOLUTION: Light emitting diodes 4 to 7 of red, green and blue are arranged on a display panel 2, whose surface is sectioned into dot display surfaces 2c including at least one of the colors of the light emitting diodes along the width; and the number of the colors of light emitting diodes included in the dot display surface 2c is equalized to the number of the colors of a combination of light emitting diodes at close positions between adjacent dot display surfaces 2c and thus the array pattern of the light emitting diodes 4 to 7 of the respective colors provided on the dot display surfaces 2c is set.
